Bush. Iraq, and the Election

Bush. Iraq, and the Election.

President Bush said
the public's decision to reelect him was a ratification of his approach
toward Iraq and that there was no reason to hold any administration
officials accountable for mistakes or misjudgments in prewar planning
or managing the violent aftermath. (Link)

Somebody needs to tell the President that a lot of us voted for him despite serious and longstanding doubts
about his policy in Iraq. Some of us Bush supporters in fact are
infuriated by the idea that nobody high up in his administration should
be held responsible for the failure to find WMD, Abu Grahib, the
failure to contain the insurgency, the breaking of the Reserve and National Guard, and so on. At the very least, as I've said twice before, Rumsfeld should go. It wouldn't hurt if the President learned a little humility on this issue too.
