Streamlined

Streamlined. By nat

One of the big differences between Django and Ruby on Rails is where the scaffolding comes in: Django gives you a sweet backend editorial administration interface but little help on the front end. Rails makes front ends easy but the back end administration help isn't there. At RailsConf today, Justin Gehtland and Stuart Halloway announced Streamlined, a very sexy piece of admin scaffolding for Rails applications. They're still putting the finishing touches on it, but I got a demo on Thursday morning and was very impressed. They'll open source the 1.0 at OSCON and I know Rael can't wait: he was begging for early access to use it on his app!  [O'Reilly Radar]
