labs have compiled a list of their favorite freeware applications of
2005 for Windows. It's a fairly old post, but it looks like a great
list and they take the time to explain why they picked what they did.
If you're looking for Windows Freeware it's a good place to start.
Some of these arent new, but certainly what Id consider
essential. Some on the other hand, are new. Ive tried to avoid the
instantly popular ones like Firefox and Opera, although I did give way
to Winamp and Konfabulator in the end.
I've just recently bought a PC so this list is helpful. You've got to love freeware. Konfabulator looks especially useful.
