This morning the Massachusetts Software Council had it's Fall
Membership Meeting. The two speakers were Dr. Jack Wilson, President of
the University of Massachusetts, and Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft. I
give an overview of Dr. Wilson's talk and a much more detailed

several pictures. Among other things, Steve talked about opportunities,
innovation, search, interoperability, Windows vs. Linux, and who they
