Kudos to Microsoft. I just stumbled across a beta of their new Web Based MSN Messenger.
It even works great through FireFox. I use Windows Messenger
exclusively now (Windows Messenger is MSN Messenger without any ads 
), surrendering my Jabber, Yahoo and ICQ accounts. If I find myself
offsite and don't want to use my MPx200, I now have a new way to stay
in contact. Works great.
