Kerry is finding it useful to wrap himself in the arms of his military
service, but don't forget two things. He came back from Vietnam
disclaiming his service, throwing away his medals and dishonoring folks
he served with. Plenty of them are still annoyed enough they they told
him to stop using their likeness and name as part of his campaigning.
Not everyone he served with is up on that stage. It is this sort of
thing that has given hiim the flip-flopping stamp. Second, he took no
opportunity to explain his voting for the war/voting against the
funding positions. His legislative career displays no courage.
