Blogs for Business / Blogs for Lawyers. My “blogs for business” presentation to an organization of entrepeneurs and consultants Saturday in Washington was enthusiastically received. I began with the thesis that the overwhelming number of poor web logs had led most people to seriously underestimate the possibilities for use of blogs in businesses. I then went on to explore the potential of this new tool. The high level of audience interest has confirmed by belief that blogs can provide large benefits to businesses–and lawyers.
I gave scores of presentations on lawyer use of the Internet through the 90s, but only one (Legal Tech New York) that I can remember in the past three years. I lost enthusiasm mainly because it seemed like there weren't many exciting new developments. The blog thing has drastically changed my attitude. I am looking forward to speaking about blogs in front of lawyer audiences. [net.law.blog]
